There are many uses for technology it just depends on how the technology is being used. For example I was in an important meeting and this guys cell phone started to ring I thought to myself "he just going to turn it off but no he answered while he was sitting down and started talking. He did not hurry out to the hallway, he did not even apologize on his way out. He just flipped his phone open and stared talking. A few Minutes after he came back into the room his phone went off again. The Cell phone is a great piece of technology if use appropriately. In this case the man with the cell phone was using his cell phone at an inappropriate time. you cannot blame the cell phone for going off and him answering it. here is another example. Most high schools ban Online Social Networking which believe me I think it is a good thing most of the time. I am a L.A.N. Manager at a high school In Nebraska. For those of you that do not know what that is I am the IT guy or computer guy. Any way, the reason I have Online Social Networking blocked is not that it is Online Social Networking but because of the the content that it might contain. It is because of the user that Social Networking is block not because of the technology. It is user defined information and there are people out there that put inappropriate information on the Social Networks. This is the same reason why chatting, blogging, and etc. are blocked. It is not because of the technology that these things are blocked it is because of how the user uses these technologies.
